Welcome back and congratulations to our Chess team from South Africa

We take this opportunity to welcome back and congratulate the Chess team which represented Uganda (Munanukye Manzi 1E and Saasi Elizabeth 1D, together with other participants from different schools) in the concluded Africa Youth Chess Championship held in South Africa.

Thank you so much for making us proud, indeed you branded our school very well.

The following are the final results scored by our participants from Uganda.

  2. Munanukye Manzi – 5/9 points
  3. Walusimbi Jason – 5/9 points
  4. Saasi Elizabeth – 4/9 points
  5. Nakaweesa Jireh – 3.5/9 points
  6. Mikisa Mitchelle – 3.5/9 points

We appreciate the mentors/trainers of our Chess players Mr. Calvin Olebo and Ms. Joy Kyategeka for the good work done.

We recognize the efforts of our school administration led by Mr. Ssenkungu David Balaba for supporting and promoting talents in our school.
