Ndejje senior secondary school is a church of Uganda-founded Government-aided, co-educational “O” and “A” level School.
The school started as a response to meet the increasing demand for quality Secondary School among the people of Buruuli and Bulemeezi counties.
The Birth of Ndejje
Ndejje senior secondary school is a church of Uganda-founded Government-aided, co-educational “O” and “A” level School. In 1963, the parents and leadership of Ndejje Junior School, who were working under the auspices of the church, established the school.
In particular, the school started as a response to meet the increasing demand for quality Secondary School among the people of Buruuli and Bulemeezi counties.
The church of Uganda gave the land on which Ndejje Secondary School sits and it laid the school’s firm spiritual foundation.At the time of founding the school, it was becoming increasingly difficult to access quality schools. Therefore to serve the interests of the local population, the leadership mooted the idea of setting up Ndejje senior secondary school to provide quality education.

Equip the students with requisite technical and vocational skills.
Ndejje became a grant-aided Ordinary-level secondary school in 1964; and attained the Advanced-level status in 1980. The school has since attained great respect, and her influence has gone beyond the two original counties of Buruuli and Bulemeezi.
To date, the school has an enrolment of over 16000 students from all regions of Uganda, and beyond.
